We offer an independent property search and
acquisition service for clients looking for a primary or second
home from around £1 million to over £5 million.
After an initial consultation to discover what you
are looking for, we will personally visit suitable
properties, make a shortlist and report back to
you. In most cases your shortlist will include
properties that are not openly marketed, sourced
from our own contacts or from estate agents
confidential listings. (See our

private vendor, estate agent or property developer).
extensive research we will
disregard properties that are not suitable for
whatever reason; maybe the property is too close to a noisy road or
the house does not quite have the promised sea view, etc.
Often, we will take additional photographs (with the
estate agent's or vendor's permission) and make relevant
investment notes and take
As a valued client,
you will only be shown the very best shortlisted properties and
we will arrange several viewings on a day and time to
suit you. Clients may be relocating and therefore travelling some distance
to view selected houses or luxury apartments and we do
not want to
waste your time with just one viewing. Suffice to
say, we can pick you up from a local train
station or Bournemouth airport and chauffer you to
the property viewings, if required.
If you should wish to make an offer on
a property that we have shown you, we will deal with the
negotiations on your behalf with the estate agent, or
negotiate direct with
the vendor (if it is a private sale or confidential real
Our search time extends to six months, so unless there
is an urgent reason to relocate, there will
be no pressure to make an offer until the perfect
property has been sourced.
We will also liaise
with your solicitor during the course of the
purchase; together with the selling agent or vendor.
If you are relocating from outside of our area we can introduce you to a local solicitor who
specialises in property conveyancing, if required. DJR HomeSearch will be pleased to recommend a
mortgage broker, removal company or any other
investment or property service you require at the time of the
acquisition and liaise with them during
exchange of contracts and completion. Please feel
free to ask our advice on any relevant matter from
stamp duty rates to local private schools.
